Where Are You on Your Wellness Journey?

We are all on a wellness journey, whether we realize it or not.

Some are just beginning—dipping a toe into the waters of physical and mental health, trying to figure out what it looks like to take better care of themselves. Others have been walking this road for a long time, exploring new phases of healing, strength, and consistency.

No matter where you are, it’s valuable to pause and ask yourself:

What’s going well right now?

Maybe you’ve built a habit you’re proud of. Maybe you’ve finally found a rhythm with your workouts or are feeling more in tune with your body. Take a moment to acknowledge what’s working.

What’s missing?
This isn’t about beating yourself up—it’s about noticing what areas of your wellness journey still feel out of sync. Are there pain points in your day? Are you moving enough? Do you feel strong, grounded, energized?

Your wellness journey doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.
There’s no single right way to “be well.” It changes with your life stage, your priorities, and even your season of the year. Some phases are about building strength. Others are about slowing down and resting. What’s most important is that you remain present and honest with yourself about what you need.

As personal trainers, we are required to take Continuing Education for credit to renew our certification every few years. One of the courses I took a handful of years back was on the Psychology of Behavior Change (specifically as it pertains to health changes).
