Carmen “The Momba” Gulliksen

Carmen is a professional boxer, longtime martial arts instructor, and trauma-aware resilience coach with over 30 years of teaching experience. She also has an academic background in health research focused on psychiatric disability—particularly PTSD—and is a published author on trauma, resilience, and recovery.

Carmen has worked with women, teens, community organizations, women’s shelters, and law-enforcement and military partners across the U.S. Her workshops are practical and accessible, focused on boundary-setting, situational awareness, de-escalation strategies, and simple self-defense movements to create space, break away, and get to safety—regardless of experience or fitness level.

Rebecca Shepka — Sole Serenity

Rebecca is a massage therapist of 18 years. At Sole Serenity, she goes beyond traditional massage. From soothing custom sessions to innovative barefoot techniques, her goal is to help you move better, feel lighter, and live with less stress.

During the Open House: Rebecca will have her massage chair available and will be offering brief chair massage experiences.

Gwendolyn L. Bohn, MT, LCSW, RYT 200

Gwen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and practice owner with over 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults across many aspects of life.

Her specialties include anxiety, depression and mood disorders, ADHD/ADD, life transitions and adjustments, stress management, behavior management, and parenting education and consultation. Gwen often uses solution-focused interventions, cognitive behavioral strategies, and mindfulness techniques. She is also a certified yoga teacher and incorporates tenets of yoga when relevant.

Gwen begins therapy by building strong rapport, focusing on strengths, and offering unconditional positive regard. She considers how each client’s unique background shapes strengths and challenges, and she routinely coordinates care with other practitioners when helpful.
