Meet Your Trainers

Mark “Kazie” Turner

[ Fan Location ]

Allo Hello! I’m Mark ‘Kazie’ Turner, an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. I grew up in gym surroundings in my youth competing in various sports such as basketball, football soccer, tennis, and track & field. After graduating from VCU, I continued playing in different recreational soccer leagues while jumping into the world of strength training that truly unlocked my potential. That passion led to curiosity in helping some of my former teammates improve their strength and stamina off the field which introduced me to personal training.

Once I realized that this was a possible career choice, I jumped in and found a new passion for helping others by improving strength through fitness and living lives they once thought were unobtainable. I’m a trainer that likes to get to know my clients on a personal level while pushing them toward PRs while jamming along the way. From powerlifting to strength training and a sprinkle of mobility, I’m a trainer that enjoys having fun while instructing you toward your goals.

They like to spend most of their time figure skating and working out, but also love to go hiking whenever they have the chance.

I have always loved movement. I grew up as an athlete and tried different types of exercise once the days of organized sports were over. Nothing ever stuck consistently until I started weightlifting 2014. I was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease in 2013 and I have used lifting as a tool to heal. It has taught me how to connect mind and body and I’ve wanted to teach other people that as well and get them to learn to love moving.

I enjoy teaching the basics and not over complicating things. I have had a lot of different experiences with health as well as injuries and I bring what I’ve learned into every training session meeting you wherever you are that day and your overall fitness journey. I like to add in a bit of mobility and a lot of core stability.

In my free time you can find me being outdoors as much as possible, at the gym or reading.

Carmya Dorsey

[ Fan Location ]

Hi everyone, my name is Carmya and I have been an ACE certified personal trainer since 2020. The reason I got into personal fitness was after being diagnosed with cancer in 2020 – the experience showed me how powerful movement and mindset can be in healing, and it sparked my passion to help others live healthier lives holistically.

In addition to being a certified trainer, I’m also a PE teacher, which gives me a strong foundation in teaching movement and motivating people of all ages. My training style is approachable, supportive, and results-driven, with a focus on building strength, mobility, and confidence.

Outside of training, I enjoy creating YouTube videos, dancing, painting, trying new classes, and spending time with good people. My goal is to make fitness feel empowering, personal, and something you actually enjoy.

Ryleigh Harmon

[ Fan Location ]

Hello everyone! My name is Ryleigh and I am currently a Physical Therapy student at VCU. Growing up, I played various sports but stuck with swimming and soccer until I graduated high school, which is when I decided to take up working out on my own. I have been working out for the past 5+ years doing anything from CrossFit to bodybuilding to powerlifting to half marathons to Hyrox competitions! I love trying new forms of movement but I always fall back to my love for strength training. I hope to do a marathon for my next adventure as I continue to find new ways to challenge myself.

My goal is to help others do the same— get comfortable being uncomfortable and learn to love doing hard things. Living a healthy lifestyle truly changed my life, so one of my greatest desires it to help others have the same experience. As I continue to expand my knowledge and work through my doctoral degree, I hope to apply that knowledge and help my clients achieve whatever their goals may be.
In my free time you will catch me at the gym (of course), reading, volunteering, or outside on my balcony. In the summer months I’ll do anything to be at a beach or beside a pool!

Rohan Dhar

[ Hanover Location ]

Certified as a Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine

I got into personal training because I love to help people, and I have a background as an athlete. I started as a Basketball Skills trainer and started training myself more seriously as well as changing my diet and lifestyle in order to gain strength in my joints and recover from different injuries and chronic health issues. After doing resistance training and yoga in order to improve my own health, I realized the benefit of sharing my experience with others and how I could improve peoples’ lives with it and make it into a career.

I mentioned that my background is in Basketball and Yoga but I am also a graduate of VCU department of Kinesiology and Health Science with a bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education, and Exercise Science. I am a lifelong learner with a burning passion for exercise, nutrition, fitness and holistic wellness.

What differentiates me is my meticulous attention to detail, ability to specify clients’ needs and prioritize their comfort and safety. I am a people person first and foremost, and I place value in the human experience. I’m confident in my ability to help my clients regain their own confidence with movement, range of motion and overall fitness goals. I’ve received positive feedback from different clients saying that they loved my dedication to putting mobility and yoga routines at the forefront of my workouts and not letting anyone leave without a proper cooldown. I have a deep understanding of the human body and how it works as a whole, which pushed me to pursue holistic personal training.

My training style is traditional in certain regards, but unique because of the tailored approach I take to every different client’s needs. I follow the OPT training model and I’m a firm believer in starting every exploratory session with some fundamental posture assessments, followed by stabilization endurance. That being said, I know how to make deviations from standard procedure in order to build around client preferences. I’ve also studied weight lifting and taken classes in Corrective Exercise Form (Fundamental Course @ The Weight Room RVA).

Outside of work I like to spend time with family and my two cats, and attend concerts and live music events. I also like to dance salsa and Bachata, and I still work as a basketball trainer for youth athletes. Between that and studying for the LSAT, I don’t really have a whole lot of free time! When I do, I spend it playing basketball or lifting weights at the gym, running and doing yoga and meditating at Belle Isle.

Paige Grahek

[ Fan Location ]

My name is Paige Grahek and I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Growing up with health challenges taught me the power of a holistic lifestyle. By listening to my body, paying attention to nutrition and movement, and doing things that brought me daily joy, I experienced a huge improvement in my quality of life. This journey sparked a passion for fitness, especially after I started rock climbing and strength training. The impact this had on my overall well-being inspired me to become a personal trainer, so I could help others experience a similar transformation.

My personal training philosophy is all about finding what makes you feel empowered through movement- both mentally and physically. I believe wellness is an evolving process, where you actively choose habits that promote long term health. Finding exercises that feel good and fit your lifestyle will lead to a balanced, joyful, and mobile life. As a trainer, I focus on building strength, improving stabilization, and working with you to achieve your goals in a sustainable way.

Outside of training, I enjoy rock climbing, especially bouldering on the Buttermilk Trail here in Richmond. Climbing is a huge component of my love of functional movement. I also like spending time with friends and family, reading, working on house projects, and volunteering with my service based young adult group.

I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades and enjoy all exercise activities and techniques.

Nicolas Jordan Tilley, ISSA Certified Personal Trainer

[ Midlothian & Fan Location ]

Fitness has always played a meaningful role in my life — from playing youth sports, to coaching, to consistently training in the gym. Before becoming a certified personal trainer, I spent several years coaching football skill positions with a focus on speed and agility development. I’ve also spent extensive time learning under certified trainers, studying muscle development, strength-building systems, and sustainable training habits.

While I’m not a certified nutritionist yet, I am currently completing my ISSA Nutrition Certification to provide a well-rounded, holistic coaching experience. My goal is to help you develop lasting habits — not just inside the gym, but in your daily life — so you build confidence, strength, and momentum that stay with you.

One of the things that sets me apart is my ability to see potential in others, even when they can’t see it in themselves. I believe in motivation backed by education, structure, and accountability. My training style is supportive, encouraging, and intentional — designed to meet you where you are and guide you forward.

Outside of training, I am focused on growing GodFit, a faith-and-fitness-based lifestyle platform I founded. I’ve also published a book on Amazon called the “30 Day Faith and Fitness Challenge Journal,” which helps beginners build daily healthy habits and strengthens both physical and spiritual discipline. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with family and friends, or watching whatever game happens to be on — I’m a big sports fan!

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and help you step into the strongest version of yourself.
