I was talking with a new client the other day and we were discussing how they were stressed about the fact that they felt they could not set aside a full hour out of the day to work out, not in the mornings, or on their lunch hour, or in the evenings ..

But they did say that they could take 10 minutes our of their day, here and there – to take a break from their desks and walk about, maybe even outside and around the building, just for a bit ..

However, they said that they did not do this, because they felt like it would not matter, because the “exercise” was not at least 30 minutes and wouldn’t really make a difference.

I am glad that they communicated this. I think it is a common misconception in our culture and lives today, holding us back from greater fitness, peace of mind, well-being, and happiness!

If all you have is 10 minutes a few times a day, TAKE IT! Use it for all it is worth. It DOES count! It DOES matter.

EVERYTHING you do matters. Every minute you spend doing anything matters – be it according to work, your own health and fitness, your family, etc.

It counts. It matters. Get every ounce that you can. Don’t discount 10 minutes, or a single minute.

Get out there. The weather is nicer. You will feel better.
