At the Holistic Health Spring Open House, you’ll have the opportunity to talk with Keith Menchel, licensed hypnotist and founder of Hypnosis RVA. Here’s a message from him:

“Hi, my name is Keith Menchel. I began my study of Hypnosis during the 1980’s when I was a graduate student. I used self-hypnosis to help me through the rigors of a Master’s Degree in Geography. I again utilized the services of a Hypnotist in the late 1990’s to help me effectively turn the stress of running a one man marketing firm into a more positive energy. At this point in time, I attended Hypnotist Patrick Porter’s Hypnosis training course and helped him with the class. This gave me a great start into the profession and I continued to read and study on my own until 2008, when I trained with the National Guild of Hypnosis and received my Consulting Hypnotist title. Since 2008, I have taken courses each year to continue my development of advanced Hypnotist skillset. 

My other people skills include teaching High School Science, Coaching Football, Basketball, Soccer. Once I had my own Kids, I coached youth soccer for another 15 years.  

My specialties in Hypnosis have developed in Smoking Cessation, PTS, Turning Stress and Anxiety into accomplishment and excitement, Personal Health issues involving Self Esteem, Weight Management, Fears, Phobias, Test Anxiety. I am also a specialist in helping my clients handle their physical and psychological issues with Physical Discomfort.”
