Imagine you’re in your car. Yes, right now. Imagine you’re driving very late in the evening or early in the morning and it is foggy out. Real foggy. Like, you could almost cut it with a knife it’s such thick fog. What are you thinking? What are you feeling? What are you doing, how are you reacting?
If you’re anything like me, you’re probably thinking, “how much further until his fog lifts,” possibly feeling a bit anxious about your reduced visibility, and, hence, driving slower than you really want to go.
Life can be a bit like this at times. We have an idea of what we want and where we want to go and what that looks like, but sometimes the path there really isn’t clear.
I’m learning to appreciate times like this. Not only can I appreciate gem because I know the fog will not last, but it also gets me hyper-aware of the road, the current moment, precisely where I am, and as fog lifts, I gain more and more clarity of how to follow the road to get to where I am headed.
I tell this story because of the value of appreciating ALL moments of life, even the frustrating ones. I tell this story to distribute hope to anyone frustrated with any area of your life right now, that it shall pass. I tell this story to demonstrate the value of having a coach alongside you to remind you of these things.
With endless contradictory information on the Internet, countless facilities one could go to to educate oneself on how to increase their own fitness, wellness, and happiness, and lots of conflicting internal thoughts and emotions we may have that seem to change every 7 seconds over something like his that we could fret about, I want to extend to you my ability to relate and my ability to help you navigate through the “fuzz.”
