Being from Pennsylvania, I always like to pop on to YouTube to see what Punxsutawney Phil, the infamous groundhog, has to say on Feb 2.

People flock from all over the world to see the event, it’s pretty wild!

As the legend goes, if Phil sees his shadow, there will be 6 more weeks of winter. If he doesn’t, spring will come sooner. The irony is: spring technically starts March 21, about 6 weeks from Feb 2.

So, it technically doesn’t matter, BUT – it’s something fun and festive to do to carry some life and excitement through this dark chilly corridor of the year. Why not? 🙂

What does matter is the joy we are choosing to inject into our winter season. Maybe you love winter and are having a blast. If you’re like me, maybe you’re dreaming of the warmer days. Still yet, we can choose to find warmth and coziness and work to take good care of ourselves in these hibernatory months.

What’s one thing you can do today that can spark appreciation within you for winter? If you need some ideas to start, I came across this article in my internet searchings.
